Sometimes midday (and serendipity) is great for photography! This image was taken on December 29 in the early afternoon with a Nikon D40X and a polarizer. The entire city of Pisa was a bit of an afterthought for Debbie and photographer husband, Eric. They were originally headed further north but the freeway was closed due to flooding caused by an early-season snowfall. They were forced to venture off the main thoroughfare and ended up in Pisa. ... [More info.]
